Privacy Policy.

Last updated: July 2026

The short version: everything runs in your browser. What you type or test on this site is never sent to us or anyone else. We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits — nothing more.

What we don’t collect

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs. What you type or test here — your keystrokes, typing text, shortcuts, and results — is never sent to us or anyone else. There is no server that receives it, and refreshing the page clears everything. Your keyboard input never leaves your device.

What we do collect (analytics)

To understand how many people use the site and which tools are popular, we use Google Analytics 4. It reports aggregate information such as pages viewed, approximate location (country or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived (for example, from a search engine or a link).

Google Analytics never receives anything you type or test on the site, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your IP address.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets a small cookie (such as _ga) so it can tell repeat visits apart. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. If we ever add ads, we’ll update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Third-party services

Google Analytics — processes the aggregate usage data described above; Google’s privacy policy applies.

PayPal — used only if you choose to leave a tip via the support link. PayPal handles the payment and its own privacy policy applies; we never see your payment details.

GitHub — the “star the repo” and “report an issue” links take you to GitHub, which has its own privacy policy.

We do not sell or share your personal data.

Your choices & rights

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website using Google’s official browser opt-out add-on.

If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we don’t hold data that identifies you personally, most requests are handled at the analytics level — email us and we’ll help.

Data retention

Aggregate analytics are retained according to Google Analytics’ settings (up to 14 months) and then deleted. We keep no separate copy.

Children’s privacy

This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always shows the current version, and any material change will be reflected here.
